Conservatives "Welcome" Pelosi To Orange County
by Jon Fleischman - Publisher (bio) (email)(print)
Lauryn Picciano, the Executive Director of the OC GOP and President of the Orange County was on hand and sent an account of the "greetings" given to Pelosi from conservatives...
"I Used To Be Called A Taxpayer,
Now I Am Called A Right Wing Nut"
By Lauryn Picciano
Once upon a time (Friday December 4th, 2009) Local Tea Party Organizations, Republican Party of Orange County volunteers, Orange County Young Republican members, Young American's For Freedom members, USCD and SDSU Young American For Liberty members, and everyday hardworking Americans came out to greet the Speaker of the Dem-o-cant Party,
Nancy Pelosi. Over 350 Protesters holding signs such as "Abortion is NOT Healthcare" , "Cap and Trade Is Just A Trillion Dollar Tax" and other clever signs respectfully welcomed Mrs. Pelosi and Union members to OC Astroturf. John Dennis attended the event; he will be running against Pelosi in 2010. He was out with protesters talking about Liberty, the Constitution, and property rights, something Pelosi will never do.
After the protest came to an end most came inside the Hotel to enjoy some food and good conservative conversation. A few unhappy democrats tried to ruffle feather, but they weren't successful. Megan
Barth started singing God Bless America and the restaurant crowd joined in, until hotel security asked us to be quiet.Megan Barth and Francis Akhavi did a phenomenal job organizing the event. Their hard work was appreciated by all in attendance. Tonight the Union members were outnumbered and outsmarted. The protesters were civil, informed on the issues, and sent a clear message to the Liberal Left - STOP SPENDING, and TRYING TO RUN OUR LIVES.
The moral of the story: Americans aren't happy with the Liberal agenda in Washington DC or in Sacramento. Taxpayers don't want their money spent on Obamacare, illegal immigration or saving the Earth from Climate Change (which by the way is redundant since climate is change).
May God Bless our troops and all those who continue to defend and protect the Constitution.

What a nice way to welcome Speaker Pelosi! I bet the protesters overshadowed the Pelosi party both in number and enthusiasm… and Speaker Pelosi was completely obvious to the protesters.
Posted by Ken Campbell at December 5, 2009 12:20pmAnd by the way, how did speaker arrive, by her huge taxpayer funded jet and limo... producing a larger carbon footprint in that one day than most of us produce in a year?
