David Valadeo: The Choice Of Small Business

Just in from our friends over at the National Federation of Independent Business/California…

Why David Valadao is the Choice of Small Business this November

By John Kabateck
NFIB/CA Executive Director

The National Federation of Independent Business/California (NFIB/California), our state’s leading organization representing small and independent business owners, works every day to make California a better place to work, live and create jobs.

Living the California dream includes the ability to have gainful employment, build a business and create jobs for others in your community. The actions of out-of-touch politicians in Sacramento have made this state less profitable, created a hostile business environment, and drastically increased unemployment.

This November, there is an opportunity to correct the wrongs that have been done by Sacramento by electing the right people. In the 30th Assembly District, NFIB/CA found a candidate with the right plan for California.

David Valadao is that candidate – and is going to make California better. That is why NFIB took a position early to help him get elected.  We first offered our support with an endorsement by NFIB’s Save America’s Free Enterprise Trust PAC (SAFE Trust).  That was followed by an opportunity to deliver his message directly to the voters by sponsoring a piece of mail for voters in his district.

Let me be clear – we did not choose David because of partisan reasons – we chose him because our issue in this election is David’s issue: putting Californians back to work by enabling the private markets – notably small businesses on Main Street – to hire again.

This is a dream that transcends party lines, and it’s a message we want all voters to hear before Election Day.

David will advocate balancing the budget without raising taxes or creating new revenues. It’s a goal he’ll achieve through controlling state spending.  He also wants to allow businesses to succeed by reducing the regulatory burden and easing painful taxes.

NFIB/California will be there with him, along with our more than 20,000 members to support his election this November.  We encourage you to join us.
