Perhaps we should look at budget cuts planned by community colleges when the taxes do not pass.

Janitors, gardners, food service, part time teachers...bye bye. Higher tuition rates but long needed. Hundreds of basket weaving classes cancelled! Cutting of professional students seeking student aid/loans to meet living expenses. Senior, mad Uncle Louie and bored retiree somewhere to go courses kaput! AA degree counseling emphasis increased. Finally, wage cuts for line and lower admin staff, some full time teachers gone, bloated overpaid and generally useless higher admin managers unscathed and some getting raises and benefits. General tension and loathing all around....

A mixed bag. Stay tuned!
