Adam Aleman

Adam Aleman is the San Bernardino County correspondent for FlashRreport.org. Adam currently serves as Assistant Assessor to San Bernardino County Assessor and former GOP Chair Bill Postmus. Formerly, Aleman served his local Party as Executive Director, a position he held for over two years.  This past election cycle, Aleman took a hiatus as Executive Director to serve as Campaign Manager for San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Postmus’ successful bid for County Assessor, defeating an entrenched 12-year incumbent. Most recently, Aleman was tapped by Assessor Bill Postmus to manage Postmus’ transition to the County Assessor’s office and now works as Postmus' top aide within that office. In the June 2006 Primary Election, Aleman quarterbacked the extensive efforts of the Inland Empire Young Republicans independent expenditure campaign to elect retired Marine Colonel Paul Cook to the California State Assembly in the 65th District. Initially considered a long shot, Aleman organized the drive to help put the first-time Assembly candidate over the top against his well-funded rivals. In 2004, and again in 2006, Aleman succeeded in helping elect two-thirds of Party-backed candidates.  His successful efforts influenced city council races in San Bernardino County’s largest cities, including Rancho Cucamonga, Barstow, Apple Valley, Hesperia, Fontana, Upland, Chino Hills, and Ontario.  Largely as a result of Aleman’s assistance, several San Bernardino County cities now have working Republican majorities. Aleman is a frequent spokesperson for the San Bernardino County Republican Party.  He has been extensively quoted by the Los Angeles Times, the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, the Press-Enterprise, and numerous regional publications.  His insight and analysis has been featured in numerous FlashReport posts. Adam lives in Rancho Cucamonga.  His interests include reading, cinema, the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
