Rep. McClintock Letter Gives Stern Warning to Felicia Marcus of CA Water Control Board

As chairwoman of the California Water Resources Control Board, Felicia Marcus oversees a massive state bureaucracy with a $1 billion annual budget.

In a prescientop ed today in the Modesto Bee, Assemblyman Adam Gray (D-Merced) had some harsh words for Marcus and her radical environmental cohorts. “Despite her promises to the contrary, she and her board have used their immense authority to jeopardize – not protect – the economy and drinking water supplies of the Northern San Joaquin Valley.”

As I have been warning for a long time, Gray also says, “The State Water Board claims it needs the water to help restore fish populations, but an earlier version of their own report suggested their plan would result in little more than an additional 1,000 fish per year.”

Fortunately, California Congressman Tom McClintock, and fellow CA Representatives Kevin McCarthy, Devin Nunes, Doug LaMalfa, Ken Calvert, David Valadeo, Jeff… Read More

The Unsavory Rot Uncovered In Catholic Dioceses

Outside of the Catholic Church, high-risk, sexually violent and repeat sex offenders are required to register on sex offender registries for life, and in California are listed on theMegan’s Lawpublic website. Within the Catholic Church, homosexual priests are offered rehabilitation. Pedophile priests are moved to another parish and avoid prosecution. Why should or would Catholic parents send their children into harms way to Catholic schools inside Catholic parishes run by corrupted Bishops?

The explosive news Tuesday that the long-awaited stategrand jury reportinto sexual abuse in six Pennsylvania dioceses has finally been released, with horrifying abuses exposed over many decades.

“The report cites 301 priests, clergy and lay teachers with… Read More

The Gas Tax Slams Farms & Small Business – Repeal It

I’m a farmer.

My dear consumer friends; I’m the warm face you are always excited to meet at your local farmer’s market booth as you fill your bag with the sustainably grown produce I offer you. I help ensure that your favorite brand of fruits and nuts is always stocked at the grocery store. Without my small farm in your community, your food would be produced from afar and it would not be as affordable, plentiful, safe, fresh, or tasty.

If you enjoy feeling connected to your food supply, always having that sense of security that can only come with knowing that I produced it locally with care, and you want to keep munching on fresh fruit and vegetables that you cannot obtain outside of California, I need your help.

One of our State’s new laws may prevent me from being there for you in the near future: Senate Bill 1 (“SB 1”)—known as the “gas tax.” Among other problems, it has jacked up the tax on gasoline by 12 cents a gallon and the taxes on diesel by 20 cents a gallon. Since farms need these fuels, it’s becoming increasingly more difficult for my small business to afford to operate in California to serve you.

Most of us… Read More

Sen. Feinstein vs. de Leon: CA Cesspool Politics

Why is California such a cesspit of political corruption? Both U.S. Senate candidates from California have some serious legal troubles and should spend time in the pokey.

For 20 years, U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.)employed a Chinese spy on her staff while she headed the Senate Intelligence Committee. When the FBI notified her about the spy on staff, Feinstein allowed him to retire, but claimed she fired him. Why wasn’t he immediately arrested by the FBI?Feinstein tried to claim Russell Lowe, the man who has been identified as the spy for Communist China, was nothing more than her driver — for 20 years. Other news reports say Lowe was her San Francisco DistrictRead More

California Wildfires Caused By Radical Environmentalists, Not Climate Change

Our forests are now catastrophically overgrown, often carrying four times the number of trees the land can support. In this stressed and weakened condition, our forests are easy prey for drought, disease, pestilence and fire. Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA)

CA Lawmakers Enjoy Private DMV Inside Capitol, While Refusing to Order Audit for the Great Unserved

California State lawmakers and bureaucrats are appearing more and more like members of the Stalinist-era political elite in Eastern Europe, which enjoyed a gratuitous level of luxury, power and privilege. Our lawmakers certainly are, as they snub requests for any government accountability.

Despite complaints across the state about outrageous wait times at California’s Department of Motor Vehicles offices, state lawmakers “sided with the Brown administration Wednesday and refused to order an official audit into its management,” the VC Star… Read More

Want to Get on an Airplane, Go to The DMV

Relaxing at my home, listening to some tunes and catching up on some reading, I was alarmed by a new development by the government that could cause me consternation (what’s new there?). Unless I received a special new kind of driver’s license, I would have to take my passport on domestic airplane flights. I had to solve this problem.

The law is called Real ID. The REAL ID Act establishes minimum security standards for license issuance and production, and prohibits Federal agencies from accepting for certain purposes driver’s licenses and identification cards from states not meeting the Act’s minimum standards. The purposes covered by the Act are: accessing Federal facilities, entering… Read More

CA Gov. Jerry Brown Vetoed Bipartisan Wildfire Management Bill in 2016

Last year, as all Hell was breaking loose in California as residents were burned out of their homes, neighborhoods and businesses, Gov. Jerry Brown wasjettingaround the world spouting climate change propaganda, and calling this California’s ‘new normal.’

“With climate change, some scientists are saying Southern California is literally burning up, and burning up as maybe a metaphor or a description not just to the fires right here, but what we can expect over the next years and decades,” Brownsaid.Today, as California burns once again under torrential… Read More
