California Blue Wave: Will it Lead to Insolvency Faster?

The midterm elections have turned out as most observers expected, nationally, statewide, and in Sacramento. By historical standards, nationally, the Democrats underperformed and lost a number of high-profile races. There was no Blue Wave – more like a blue ripple.

However, California is another story, remaining as blue as can be, and headed right into insolvency. In the contest for governor, California voters chose Democratic politician Gavin Newsom over Republican businessman John Cox, who is not a politician.

Sen. Feinstein vs. de Leon: CA Cesspool Politics

Why is California such a cesspit of political corruption? Both U.S. Senate candidates from California have some serious legal troubles and should spend time in the pokey.

For 20 years, U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.)employed a Chinese spy on her staff while she headed the Senate Intelligence Committee. When the FBI notified her about the spy on staff, Feinstein allowed him to retire, but claimed she fired him. Why wasn’t he immediately arrested by the FBI?Feinstein tried to claim Russell Lowe, the man who has been identified as the spy for Communist China, was nothing more than her driver — for 20 years. Other news reports say Lowe was her San Francisco DistrictRead More

CA Gov. Jerry Brown Rejects Feds’ Initial National Guard Border Plans

After sitting silently on his hands for days, last week Gov. Jerry Brown finally agreed to allow the California National Guardto send400 troops to the U.S.-Mexico border, but would not allow guard members to stop illegal immigrants from entering the country illegally, in exchange for money from the Trump administration to beef up the state’s guard.Gov. Brown defiantly declared his troops “will not be used to enforce federal immigration laws.”

The troops will remain under state control, but the deployment costs will be covered by the Defense of Department.

The Worst Kept Secret in Hollywood is also in CA’s Capitol

Sexual harassment is apparently a problem in California’s State Capitol, despite voluminous binders of sexual harassment rules and training guides. However, the ‘casting couch’ is used in many industries besides Hollywood, and especially in politics.

“Me Too” is Growing

More than 140 women working in and around the California State Capitol have written a letter claiming to have been sexually harassed inside the Capitol by lawmakers and staff. The list has now grown to 300.

“For four years in a row, the Democratic-controlled Legislature has quietly buried a bill—sponsored by a Republican assemblywoman—that would give legislative staff expanded whistleblower protections,” CalMatters… Read More

California Democrats’ ‘Bullying’ and Flagrant Hypocrisy

On December 6, 2016 upon the return of the Legislature and newly-elected members, Sen. John Moorlach, R-Costa Mesa, authored Senate Resolution 8, introduced to simply welcome newly-elected President Donald Trump and acknowledge the historical peaceful transition of power. SR8 said the Senate “hopes for the peaceful transition of power in the United States, that the incoming presidency will be a success, and that the president-elect will take his responsibilities seriously to ensure a strong and unified America.”

SR8 was supposed to be presented and voted on at the beginning of the 2017 Senate Session, during the first week of the New Year. But this congenial resolution message was never given a chance.

Instead on December 6, Sen. President pro Tem Kevin de León, D-Los Angeles, presented and then had the Senate vote on his own Senate Resolution, SR 7, on the day that the Senate was… Read More

Gun Control Leftists Also Responsible for San Bernardino Deaths

California’s gun control leftists hold some responsibility for the mounting deaths in Wednesday’s vicious terrorist attack in San Bernardino.

California’s gun laws are some of the strictest in the country, and Gov. Jerry Brown continues to make them even tighter. The bottom line is that citizens aren’t allowed to protect themselves in the Golden State.

The mass shooting took place Wednesday morning in San Bernardino, California at the Inland Regional Center, a facility for developmentally disabled adults, where 14 people were killed and at least 17 injured. Two of the suspects are both Muslim, a husband-and-wife team named Syed Rezwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27. Both were killed by police. Some news reports say there are thought to be more suspects involved.

Statists and Sex Puritans Redefine The Meaning Of The Word “YES”

Sexual encounters often tragically occur where usually both parties are very drunk. Sexual consent isn’t thought of until the next day when regret sets in.

Yet, young men are increasingly being charged by female students and college administrators, of sexual misconduct — even when accusers cannot remember the events because of intoxication. Right or wrong, young men are subjected to a minimum of academic discipline, and many times, brought up on more formal, serious, and even criminal charges.

Apparently, there ought to be a law.

Gun Control Thrives In California

From the “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up” file, a bill currently in the California Legislature would require BB guns and Airsoft Pellet guns painted bright toy colors so they won’t be mistaken for real guns.

Coloring BB guns (“BB” stands for “ball bullet,”) in bright colors will only give parents and children the impression that they are children’s toys, rather than recreational and target sport guns.

And criminals will start painting their AK 47s hot pink.

Last year, Gov. Jerry Brownsigned 11 gun control billsinto law andvetoedseven. More gun bills are on the firing line this year — even banning some BB guns.

In January, the California Senate passed the BB gun bill,Senate Bill 199, by state Sen. Kevin de Leon, D-Los Angeles, 23 to 8. In June, the Assembly Public Safety Committee passed the bill, 5 to… Read More
