Another Episode of ‘As the Capitol Turns’ In Which The ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Aren’t

In another Episode of ‘As the Capitol Turns’ we see that in our ‘Search For Tomorrow,” the ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ aren’t, ‘Dark Shadows’ lurk in the hallways, ‘Passions’ flare, and ‘The Guiding Light’ only lures young interns and fellows to ‘The Edge of Night.’ Or perhaps this is just another in theHow California Democrats Have Turned The Golden State Into A ‘Sh*thole’ series.

If the persistent whisper network around the California State Capitol is evidence of anything, Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles), is scrambling to prevent the other shoe from dropping… on him. The Capitol sexual harassment scandal under de Leon’s watch is growing, despite de Leon’s attempt at containment.

De León’s “containment” is not to help the female victims of these sexual harassers; the containment is solely to protect lawmakers’ jobs and future prospects. This is becauseCalifornia… Read More

CA Senate To Hire Lawyers To Cover Up Sexual Harassment

The California Legislature is a hotbed of indecency, on many levels. Decades of vulgarity, obscene tales of trysts and assignations, and the usual gropes and grabs have made the rounds in local watering holes, and on the pages of newspapers. So when more than 150 women wrote an open letter last month condemning the culture of sexual harassment in the Capitol, news reports joined in the condemnation. Since then, more women have added their names to the letter. But it turns out the culture inside the Capitol is even more uncivil and indelicate than previously thought possible.

Following the women’s letter, it was reported that Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León said his office has asked the women’s caucus for further recommendations on “new protectionsthat will encourage those… Read More

Were CA Republican State Senate Offices Infiltrated Watergate-Style?

California State Senators Janet Nguyen and Andy Vidak and staff members arrived to work at their Capitol offices one morning last week to find unlocked office doors, a pungent chemical smell, and discovered their carpets had been cleaned without prior notice or even authorization. What’s the big deal? Were the offices infiltrated Watergate-style?

No one in the Senate administrative offices authorized or ordered the cleaning, or knew anything about it. Nguyen’s carpet was just spot cleaned last… Read More

Hypocrisy in California State Senate Leads to Commie Suppression of Dissent

In an astonishing violation of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, California State Sen. Janet Nguyen (R-Garden Grove), was forcibly removed from the Senate last Thursday morning for challenging the sycophantic Senate memorial of the late Sen. Tom Hayden, a Democrat with a well-known and lengthy history of communist sympathies.Sen. Nguyen and her family escaped communist Vietnam and came to the United States in search of freedom in 1981 during Ronald Reagan’s presidency. Sadly, what Nguyenexperienced last week was communistic suppression of dissent inside the chambers of the California State Senate, in the state she thought epitomized freedom. Read More

California State Sen. Janet Nguyen Removed From Senate Floor for Voicing Differing Opinion

California State Sen. Janet Nguyen (R-Garden Grove), was forcibly removed from the Senate Thursday morning for offering a different perspective on the late Sen. Tom Hayden, a Democrat with a well-known and lengthy history of communist sympathies.

The perspective Sen. Nguyen offers is first hand. Her family escaped communist Vietnam and came to the United States in search of freedom in 1981 during Ronald Reagan’s presidency.

Sen. Nguyen and I spoke Thursday shortly after the incident. She said Tuesday the Senate had scheduled a memorial for the late former state Sen. Tom Hayden, who died in October. Hayden served 18 years in the Legislature.

The left has always portrayed Hayden as a… Read More
