Bob Huff goes Team Romney
by Mike Spence - Los Angeles County (bio) (email)(print)
UPDATE FROM JON FLEISCHMAN: Today the Romney Campaign will make Huff's endorsement official. Here are statements from Romney and Huff:
Upon the announcement, Chairman Huff said, "There is one candidate with the experience and determination to strengthen our economy and promote job growth in
"Chairman Huff and I both believe that we must keep taxes low, cut wasteful government spending and reverse the current housing crisis facing families in California and throughout the country," said Governor Romney. "I am optimistic we can keep our economy strong and ensure a prosperous future for our children and grandchildren. I look forward to working with Chairman Huff to implement my optimistic vision as President."
ORIGINAL POST FROM MIKE SPENCE:
This morning, I sat next to Assemblyman and Caucus Chair Bob Huff at the California ProLife Jan. 22 breakfast. I asked him who he is endorsing for President. He said he was trying to stay out of it, but last night agreed to endorse Mitt Romney. Huff indicated more legislators were headed Romney's way.

GOP Legislators heading Romney's way, eh?

"standing up for the American values and I see that in Rudy Giuliani."
Posted by Sean Loranger at January 23, 2008 7:33amSo long as you define American values as cheating on your wife and alienating your children. I wouldn't say a person has to be perfect to be President but please don't sell me Giuliani on values.
