Jon's comment on the L.A.Times not
covering the KFI's rally last Saturday is well taken and that's the reason why their readership/subscriptions has diminish so drastically, they have moved so far to the left that is really pathetic and shamefull, they cover only what they deem politically correctness with positive coverage for their leftist agenda, ie; gay rights?, anti-military protests, global warming lies, pro-abort, pro-illegal inmigration rallies, the Community Organizer walking on water, the upcoming arrival of the new puppy in April at the White House, tfying on Air Force One to Chicago to have a St. Valentine's dinner with the wife, or Arnold's green houses agenda to please his brother-in-law.......

It is completely unacceptable that the LA times did not mention one word about this sizable event even if it was in the OC. Had it been 50 liberal activists staging a protest in McArthur park, it probably would have made the front page. Pathetic! So pathetic that after 25 years of receiving the times, I'm cancelling my subscription on Monday morning with a phone call, a cancellation letter to the editor and another note in crayon to the reporter who was completely off base on the recent KFI comments. Hope he's enjoyed his time in the print media as it will likely end soon. Tax Revolt 2009. Join the revolution!

You have to understand that george shelton runs the news bureau over there. He is a pro tax commentator.

This is only the start....Pravea Times will not change...It will become more critical and inward thinking. The best step is to have a massive rally outside the Los Angeles Times demanding editors show their Red Utopian faces to the masses....the next rally cannot be denied...Los Angeles Times.

You people are looking at the Times as a left wing paper instead of understanding they are simply incompetent. Last year there was a major scandal involving the City of Industry that the Times didn't cover until long after other newspapers in the Country picked up the story. They are just inept, nothing more.

They may be inept, Tom, but they knew about this event. And, as someone mentioned above, every silly left-wing rally with 50 or 100 people gets wall-to-wall coverage. They are much more interested in covering the tax-eaters and the radicals than they are the taxpayers.

What happened in Industry had been going on for many years, was well known to anyone who followed local level politics and crossed several election cycles. Worst of all, it happened in a city that was just a few miles from the LA Times office. On top of all of that, the Industry scandal not only had provably corrupt local elected officials, it also had possible involvement from organized crime. No offense towards John and Ken and their rally, but I would still argue that what the Times overlooked in Industry clearly shows their coverage to be incompetent to a level that I don't think they could affect a political debate if they were trying to influence it.

The LA Times recently announced that they weren't going to have a "local news" section any longer.

Haven't you heard? Print newspapers are dead.

Come to think of it.... weren't you to blame for that? lol
