BREAKING NEWS: Sen. Dennis Hollingsworth WON'T Challenge Congresswoman Mary Bono-Mack
by Mike Spence - Los Angeles County (bio) (email)(print)
Today I exchanged a few emails with State Senate Republican Leader Dennis Hollingsworth. He made it clear he isn't thinking of challenging Congresswoman Mary-Bono-Mack for Congress. Too bad. Sen. Hollingsworth would have been a great Republican alternative to cap and taxer and job costing Obama enabler Congresswoman Mary Bono-Mack.
No word from Ray Haynes, Jim Battin or others. Somebody do it!

A great choice indeed. No doubt people will line up to support the person who opposes her. She clearly does not follow the party platform. I'm not sure if she has ever read it?
Posted by Anthony Porrello at June 28, 2009 11:20amThat's really too bad. I think Hollingsworth would have been the best candidate. He has name ID and has shown strong leadership and an ability to stand on principle as Senate Republican leader. Hopefully someone can convince him to change his mind before it's too late.
