The Nerve: 36th AD Accusations show desperation

Your GOP Primary opponent is an incumbent, who just got done crossing the state to qualify the popular Jesica’s Law initiative. The initiative will crack down on sex offenders.

Q. What do you do?

A. Hold a press conference attacking her on the issue of sex offenders.

That is exactly what happened in the 36th Assembly District race between Jessica Law co-author Sharon Runner and Palmdale Mayor James Ledford.

Next Garamendi will attack McClintock for being weak on taxes or Feinstein will hit Mountjoy on illegal immigration. That sound you hear is Ledford’s campaign going over like a led ballon. No GPS tracker necessay to see where this is going.

See the article here.

Assemblywoman Runner is untouchable on the sexual predator issue. In short, she owns it (or, at least has a large share of ownership of it with Assemblyman Todd Spitzer).

This was not Palmdale Mayor Ledford’s finest hour, to say the least. Assemblywoman Runner will bury Ledford and he’ll deserve it.

    All the best,

    Chuck DeVore
    State Assemblyman, 70th District

Perhaps Ledford should talk about the issue of government redistribution of wealth from one to another. Runner was the deciding vote to place an abominable multi-billion dollar “housing bond” on the November ballot. In short, to paraphrase Chuck DeVore, she “owns” this unwise and unRepublican housing bond. I was quite honestly shocked at the vote.
