Anthony Adams recall fails

I am a hard core conservative. But I never liked this recall effort on Anthony Adams from the beginning. I wrote so here. I don’t like the idea of commercial radio personalities who have no history in the trenches, and a profit motive, calling shots for the Republican party. While Adams voted the wrong way on the budget, in my view, a primary challenge would have been the better way to make the point. And I am sure that by now, Adams regrets his vote and has learned a huge lesson in politics. Let’s hear from Adams now: vote conservative all the way, or else! That is enough for me. Let us stop wasting resources on this stuff and start using resources fighting Democrats!!!

Jim, it would give me great relief to actually hear Anthony say that, “he regrets his vote and has learned his lesson.”

He has never said anything other than that if he were in the same situation he would cast his vote the same way.

    Anthony?

I plan to try and post on this later when I get to my computer, but like Jim, I’ve always considered this recall an unfortunate waste of scarce Republican dollars – which would be better spent fighting Democrats instead of each other.

I’m glad it’s over and I’m not one bit surprised by the outcome (I actually predicted it).

Congrats Anthony – now expect a tough Primary. http://www.sacbee.com/static/weblogs/capitolalertlatest/027140.html

It seems sort of silly to waste time and money trying to take our little buckets to throw water out of our boat as it takes on water, while one of our own is drilling a whole in the hull at the back.

    No?

    Or did I miss something?
