The two FPPC commissioners heading this subcommittee are (1) Elizabeth Garrett,
recently appointed by Democrat Secretary of State Deborah Bowen and (2) Timothy
Hodson (Democrat) who was, “From 1987 to 1993, staff director for the California
Senate Elections & Reapportionment Committee” according to his FPPC biography.

Given these backgrounds, the prospects do not look very good for the GOP!
