Are Today’s School Shooters Yesterday’s Medicated Video Game Addicts?

Since the 1999 school shooting inColumbine, CO, it appears that a typecast of the shooters has emerged: teen boys who are depressed, isolated, medicated, jilted, have absentee or divorced parents, and play violent video games.

The latest school shooter opened fire at Santa Fe High School in Texas on last Friday, killing 10 and wounding 13. Police arrived on scene and engaged in a 30-minuteshootout. The shooter targeted and murdered a teen girl who rebuffed his advances.

The media has engaged in non-stop reporting on this. The media was still reporting on the Parkland, Fla.,Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in February, when Friday’s shooting happened. It’s as if the media’s incessant reporting is encouraging more demented teen boys to emulate the previous shooter.

Both Sides Aren’t Violent

Free speech is under assault in America. And in California, free speech is being bushwhacked. People are attacked just for having patriotic bumper stickers on their cars. Trump supporters who attend rallies are threatened, assaulted, beat up, and in a weekend attack in Santa Monica, a 28-year old man was knifed nine times! The only people being attacked are Trump supporters. The media lie “both sides do it” is repugnant; both sides are not violent.

The Navy Jack flag flying from my house was set on fire shortly before the November 8th presidential election. We fly it at the behest of our son, a Naval officer, who was deployed to the Middle East at the time. It’s an historical flag. But… Read More

The Left Is Rotting From Within

There is great evil afoot in this country. The left is imploding before our very eyes. But it is a rot from within, and it is self-imposed. The Democrat Party has no substantive platform any longer other than obstruction, “resist,” foul-mouthed vulgarity, violence, anger, and excessive whining.

This rot is manifesting itself in some very public displays:

Campus snowflakes are working overtime at colleges and universities across the country to shut down speech. They are rioting, destroying property, and openly fighting professors who’s’ curriculum offends their sense of social justice. If that isn’t enough scurrilous behavior, these pathetic snowflakes are now demanding racially segregated graduation ceremonies, dormitories, and white students and professors are told to leave campuses for a “day without whites.” I remember when desegregation was worth… Read More

Reality Check: Public Officials Specialize in Fecklessness, Incompetence and Cowardice

Apparently feckless, neutered police are also impacting the safety and security in the United Kingdom, and not just on California college campuses. The horrific Manchester bombing at the Arianna Grande concert Monday evening, which killed at least 22 and injured more than 150, might have been prevented if politically correct fecklessness within government wasn’t so rampant.

Adding to the fecklessness and politics,LondonMayor Sadiq Khan said terrorism is “part and parcel” of urban life.

…Good to know given that I live in California, where our officials… Read More

Who Cares About Janet Napolitano’s Worthless Apology To CA Legislators?

There are numerous news articles about University of California President Janet Napolitano apologizing to legislators this week over a state audit which found $175 million squirreled away in a secret account, while the UC universities were increasing tuition costs on students.

The problem is, her apology is hollow, meaningless, worthless, or any number of synonyms for her senseless drivel. She knows nothing will happen to her.

“UC President Janet Napolitano apologized to a joint legislative oversight committee on Tuesday, a week after a blistering… Read More

California Democrats’ ‘Bullying’ and Flagrant Hypocrisy

On December 6, 2016 upon the return of the Legislature and newly-elected members, Sen. John Moorlach, R-Costa Mesa, authored Senate Resolution 8, introduced to simply welcome newly-elected President Donald Trump and acknowledge the historical peaceful transition of power. SR8 said the Senate “hopes for the peaceful transition of power in the United States, that the incoming presidency will be a success, and that the president-elect will take his responsibilities seriously to ensure a strong and unified America.”

SR8 was supposed to be presented and voted on at the beginning of the 2017 Senate Session, during the first week of the New Year. But this congenial resolution message was never given a chance.

Instead on December 6, Sen. President pro Tem Kevin de León, D-Los Angeles, presented and then had the Senate vote on his own Senate Resolution, SR 7, on the day that the Senate was… Read More

Willie Brown’s Unwise Conversation on Race

These dubious “conversations on race” are becoming exasperating because they aren’t real conversations.

In Sunday’s San Francisco Chronicle, former California Assembly Speaker Willie Brown weighed in on the Ferguson, Missouri conflict between police officer Darren Wilson and Michael Brown, a Ferguson street thug who was shot and killed following a convenience store robbery, and confrontation with Officer Wilson.

Willie Brown advocated for having a “conversation about a legal process that has district attorneys, who work with police every day,… Read More
