I asked Senator Boxer a post-debate question: Check out the video: http://youtu.be/bEA9U3OTVyg

Boxer is VERY angry. Probably annoyed that she has a tough battle for her re-election.

Agreed! RT @meredith_turney: These questions are attacking Carly! Where are the tough questions for Boxer?

RT @CapitolAlert: Fiorina: I have not taken a position on #Prop23, need national energy policy

It's great to have an articulate pro-life candidate who explains her position, and doesn't shirk from it!

Fiorina really hammered Boxer hard on that one!

Keep an eye on FR friend Torey Van Oot's live blogging of the debate @capitolalert!

I was really hoping that St. Mary's would have put up a mud pit between the two candidates... And provided red and blue leotards...

Boxer practically had a free ride in her last re-election. Bill Jones, a nice guy, bought ZERO TV time.

Class warfare is so yesterday. Boxer is so yesterday.

RT @CapitolAlert: Fiorina's height advantage vanishes http://bit.ly/c4SITP

Barbara Boxer has NEVER had an opponent as articulate and as forceful as Fiorina. Hershensohn was articulate, but not this forceful.

@meredith_turney - I want to make $100 million!

Umm -- "jobs" are not Boxer's focus -- "government jobs" are her focus.

Yes, Fiorina comes out of the gate swinging! This won't be a snoozer like that first Meg vs. Steve yawn-fest.

I am sitting in the same row as the Calbuzz boyz -- sitting, of course, to their right!

Senior GOP Senate source: "This has been a planned and orderly transition, just one that has been impacted by inaction on budget."

Both Hollingsworth and Dutton are prepared to make the change right away if it appears that no progress is being made on a budget agreement.

AB 1998 Plastic Bag Ban killed -- My take on it (and someone get's a "raspberry" award): http://bit.ly/aBBCqj

Plastic Bag Ban defeated! A victory in an otherwise terrible day in the legislature.

Bag ban and tax looks like it is going down. Proud of my Senator Mimi Walters for her floor speech!

Senators Blakeslee and Strickland -- get in gear. Vote no on a massive tax on grocery store consumers!

Carbon sequestion? I don't know what it is but it sounds very Gore-esque. I vote no, in principle.

Maybe if the Anthony Adams love-fest goes on long enough, we can run down the clock. THEN Anthony will have done us a service.

AB 222 debate becomes an Anthony Adams love fest. Next.

Good God -- Democrats are STILL praising and applauding Anthony Adams for breaking his pledge and hoisting $16B in new taxes on all of us.

This isn't a game of legislative jousting. Dems can't propose massive tax increases and expect Republican to meet them halfway.

Last I checked, the middle ground between tax cuts and tax hikes would be neither. We really need to balance out decades of overspending.

@RogerSalazar -- Of course the Speaker has not met Republicans half way. We want tax cuts to stimulate economy. He proposes tax hikes.

After watching several hours of CalChannel today, I strongly recommend counseling for all GOP legislators. Good grief!

All three US Senators defeated in primaries (Bennet, Specter, Murkowski) all big-spending Appropriators. Coincidence? I think not!

Hmm. Heard in comm after deadline. Should be 2/3 RT @CapitolAlert: Plastic bag bill makes it out of committee - now back to the senate floor
