So I flicked the tv on to CNN today (doubling their market share in the Sacramento market). Boy, can you imagine the outcry if a Fox personality literally spoke in ethnic or regional accents to imply idiocy? Both Parker and Spitzer did it, more than once, and thought it was a real gas.

I live in Santa Cruz, and the gyms around here will have all the tvs on CNN before they ever will turn at least one of them to Fox, so if The Parker-Spitzer show is on while I’m on the elliptical, I catch it, and while there is no sound, I can’t help wondering if he’s comparing Parker to “Kristen” or if Parker ever calls him “number 9”? And I think how the two oldest professions in world converged to catapult the man who likes to choke his call girls for sexual excitement, with his socks on, to a prime time cable show that’s supposed to be cute and serve up entertaining repartee. Can’t change the channel so I’m glad the sound is off while I look away and listen to my i-pod.
