Sen. Tony Mendoza Resigns While Senate President Presides Over Kangaroo Court

The Capitol cesspool saga adds another chapter in the sexual harassment orgy going on under the dome.

Senate President pro Tem Kevin de Leon lectured Senate colleagues on the Senate floor Thursday about how he would not tolerate the abuse of power in the Senate, during the on-again, off-again session to determine the fate of Sen. Tony Mendoza amid sexual harassment investigations.“We will not tolerate harassment, nor sweep it under the rug,” de Leon said (as I spit my coffee). Earlier in the week, de Leon threatened to expel Mendoza, but many assumed it was an empty threat.

#FauxFeminists in CA Legislative Women’s Caucus Silent On’ Sexual Abuse Charges

With the ongoing investigations into charges of sexual harassment and abuse by lawmakers inside the California State Capitol, there is a deafening silence coming from the Legislature’s Women’s Caucus. Are all of the feminist lawmakers MIA? Why are they silent on the sexual harassment charges against their colleagues? Don’t they care about the victims? The law dictates they must protect the victims, not the perpetrators. But that’s not how the Capitol investigations are being conducted in Sacramento.

Let’s get the skunk on the table: If Senator Tony Mendoza, or Senator Bob Hertzberg, or Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia were Republicans, they would have been expelled by their colleagues on January 3rd. And the Legislative Women’s Caucus would have been righteously outraged; Democrat Sen. Hannah Beth Jackson would have demanded Republican heads on a silver platter; Democrat Sen. Connie Leyva would have demanded more than suspensions; And where is the usually righteously indignant Democrat Sen. Holly Mitchell and her “… Read More

Is CA Senate Rigging Report In Harassment Probe of Sen. Tony Mendoza?

Senior Senate staff say Sen. President Pro Tem Kevin DeLeon still actively helping former roommate Mendoza keep his paycheck

In an exclusive interview to the Flash Report, a California State Senate senior staffer revealed a behind-the-scenes plot to save, or at least continue the Senate paycheck of Democrat Senator Tony Mendoza (Artesia), who in multiple media reports and news articles is alleged to be a serial sexual harasser of women in his own Senate office.

The Senate staffer, who has worked several years in the Legislature under multiple leaders, requested anonymity for fear of workplace reprisals.

Additionally, it was reported Thursday that Sen. Mendoza and a constituent filed a lawsuit against the California… Read More

Another Episode of ‘As the Capitol Turns’ In Which The ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Aren’t

In another Episode of ‘As the Capitol Turns’ we see that in our ‘Search For Tomorrow,” the ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ aren’t, ‘Dark Shadows’ lurk in the hallways, ‘Passions’ flare, and ‘The Guiding Light’ only lures young interns and fellows to ‘The Edge of Night.’ Or perhaps this is just another in theHow California Democrats Have Turned The Golden State Into A ‘Sh*thole’ series.

If the persistent whisper network around the California State Capitol is evidence of anything, Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles), is scrambling to prevent the other shoe from dropping… on him. The Capitol sexual harassment scandal under de Leon’s watch is growing, despite de Leon’s attempt at containment.

De León’s “containment” is not to help the female victims of these sexual harassers; the containment is solely to protect lawmakers’ jobs and future prospects. This is becauseCalifornia… Read More

CA Senate To Hire Lawyers To Cover Up Sexual Harassment

The California Legislature is a hotbed of indecency, on many levels. Decades of vulgarity, obscene tales of trysts and assignations, and the usual gropes and grabs have made the rounds in local watering holes, and on the pages of newspapers. So when more than 150 women wrote an open letter last month condemning the culture of sexual harassment in the Capitol, news reports joined in the condemnation. Since then, more women have added their names to the letter. But it turns out the culture inside the Capitol is even more uncivil and indelicate than previously thought possible.

Following the women’s letter, it was reported that Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León said his office has asked the women’s caucus for further recommendations on “new protectionsthat will encourage those who have been… Read More

Sen. John Moorlach: The Fiscal Conscience of the CA Legislature

Former Orange County Supervisor John Moorlach won his Senate race in March, and already has become a standout. Now-Senator John Moorlach, R-Costa Mesa, has waged challenges to Democrat Gov. Jerry Brown’s May Budget revise, minimum wage hikes, Democrats’ lack of fiscal restraint and perpetual overspending.

Moorlach, eloquently, but authoritatively, has become the Legislature’s outspoken expert on California’s Department of Transportation’s 3500 unneeded engineers and gross careless spending, while the governor simultaneously asked taxpayers to foot the bill for even more transportation taxes.

In 1994, Moorlach accurately… Read More

Big Brother Jerry Brown Bans the Word “Alien”

Since 1976, Lake Superior University annually publishes a “List of Words Banished from the Queen’s English for Mis-use, Over-use and General Uselessness.” A few of the obnoxious, overused words on the 2015 list include “polar vortex,” “takeaway,” and “foodie.” “Wasn’t it called ‘winter’ just a few years ago?” one student asked.“It’s ridiculous. Do we call people who like wine ‘winies’ or beer lovers ‘beeries’?” asked another.I love semantics.

But from the “you-can’t-make-this-stuff-up” file, in 2013, Big Brother officials in Seattlecalled for a ban on “potentially offensive” language. Government workers in Seattle were told that the words “citizen” and “brown bag” were deemed “potentially offensive” and would no longer be used in official documents and discussions. Seattle officials also said the word “citizen” was banned “because many people who live… Read More

Statewide Recall Effort Against CA Lawmakers Over Mandatory Vaccines

A woman’s right to choose is a rallying cry for women across the country. But they are talking about choice over abortions, and not vaccinations.

Parental choice and decision making over childhood vaccinations was removed in California thanks to a state law passed in 2012. Assembly Bill 2109 by then-Assemblyman Richard Pan, D-Sacramento, orders that children will not be allowed to attend public school without proof that parents have been counseled, and children vaccinated in accordance with the vaccination schedule of the federal Center for Disease Control. The only exception to the law is a personal belief or religious exemption – the only way Pan could get the bill passed. However, now-Sen. Richard Pan is back with another bill, Senate Bill 277, to remove even the personal belief/religious exemption, following the measles outbreak at Disneyland in January. “We are in a situation where there are not enough people being vaccinated to contain these… Read More
