California MSM refuses to fully report legislature’s sexual harassment scandal

What is “fake news“? Definitions abound, of course.

But IMHO, the most common examples of fake news in the MSM are “lies of omission.” Our state newspapers have been covering a major story — while diligently FAILING to report a critical aspect of this huge scandal.

Over 150 women (I haven’t heard the figure recently) have come forward to report sexual harassment in our Sacramento state capitol. A number of state legislators have been investigated, with some resignations. All this has been diligently reported.

But what has NOT been reported is the number of sexual harassment claims against politicians and senior staffers in EACH political party. This omission persists — in spite of the fact that these accusations have been known for several months.

Looking over the newspaper stories, it appears that almost EVERY miscreant that is being investigated or sanctioned is a Democrat. To date I’ve foundRead More

Stockton Students Beat Cop, Smash Police Car In  Worst ‘Quality of Life’ State of CA

The “No More Violence” school protest ends with a cop beating and a smashed police car.

More than 600 student protestors from five Stockton high schools took to the streets for a “No More Violence” anti-gun rally Friday, which turned violent when the brainiacs attacked a cop, stole his baton, stomped on his midsection, and smashed several police cars. They also threw rocks through car windows of innocent passersby, and hundreds of the students ran through a nearby mall like a herd of cattle. At least five students were arrested for the violence, attacks, and damage to six police cars.

Toward a Dominant Republican Party in California

Is California a lost cause for Republicans? It is so big, and these days so liberal, it is hard to imagine a time when Republicans can take over the state government. The good news is that Democrats are doing everything in their power to destroy the state, and people are moving out in droves. If you doubt me, go to U-Haul and try to rent a truck. You will find they are very expensive, much more expensive than in neighboring states. The U-Haul price issue, driven by the fact that more people are moving out than moving in, is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine,” California, blessed with the best weather and most abundant land in the country, is literally chasing people out of the state, and deterring people from moving in.

Enter former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Governor John Kasich, announcing in the last few days that they want to redirect the Republican Party. Make no mistake, Schwarzenegger has tried this before, and his policies were so unpopular that he did more to destroy the California Republican Party than any other single politician. Governor Kasich should just go back to Ohio, we don’t need his help here.

Sen. Tony Mendoza Resigns While Senate President Presides Over Kangaroo Court

The Capitol cesspool saga adds another chapter in the sexual harassment orgy going on under the dome.

Senate President pro Tem Kevin de Leon lectured Senate colleagues on the Senate floor Thursday about how he would not tolerate the abuse of power in the Senate, during the on-again, off-again session to determine the fate of Sen. Tony Mendoza amid sexual harassment investigations.“We will not tolerate harassment, nor sweep it under the rug,” de Leon said (as I spit my coffee). Earlier in the week, de Leon threatened to expel Mendoza, but many assumed it was an empty threat.

Let’s Make Banks Gun Free Zones

On the radio today, I heard the head of the National Education Association insist that the union did not want “any guns on school grounds,” and that they would resist any attempts to arm teachers. Schools, this union official said, should be “gun free.” The left, in the follow up to the Florida school shooting, has been proposing all sorts of various bans on guns, and places where those guns can be loaded, used, or carried. Listening to the anti-gun advocates this last week, I had an epiphany…Guns don’t deter violent offenders, they encourage them. How could I not see that before? Removing guns from the hands of law-abiding citizens is the only way to stop violent offenders from getting guns, and shooting people with them. It is so self-evident as to be indisputable. How could I contest that fact?

It only makes sense. If law abiding citizens came to a theater or a school or a park or…pick a place without a gun, violent or crazy people would know this, and not go there and shoot them. Why would crazy or violent people want to shoot unarmed people? It is human nature to want a fair fight. Bad guys won’t get their… Read More

#FauxFeminists in CA Legislative Women’s Caucus Silent On’ Sexual Abuse Charges

With the ongoing investigations into charges of sexual harassment and abuse by lawmakers inside the California State Capitol, there is a deafening silence coming from the Legislature’s Women’s Caucus. Are all of the feminist lawmakers MIA? Why are they silent on the sexual harassment charges against their colleagues? Don’t they care about the victims? The law dictates they must protect the victims, not the perpetrators. But that’s not how the Capitol investigations are being conducted in Sacramento.

Let’s get the skunk on the table: If Senator Tony Mendoza, or Senator Bob Hertzberg, or Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia were Republicans, they would have been expelled by their colleagues on January 3rd. And the Legislative Women’s Caucus would have been righteously outraged; Democrat Sen. Hannah Beth Jackson would have demanded Republican heads on a silver platter; Democrat Sen. Connie Leyva would have demanded more than suspensions; And where is the usually righteously indignant Democrat Sen. Holly Mitchell and her “… Read More
